Thanks for taking notice on the things I said. Ha. Appreciate the respect. It is not that I think the attractions we have these days at the studios are awful...except for Rockit. Most of Universal's attractions are still top knotch. It is just as others have noted a lot of them are missing that classic charm and heart that the studios started with.

I think this contradicts your whole argument of "timeless" and classic attractions. You really prefer a generic Six Flags roller coaster to the Mummy? :bang::confused:

I think he was trying to clarify that he doesn't think all rides at Universal aren't awful, except for Rockit.

Indeed. I think you should read more carefully, or I should write more clearly.

Either way. I promise you that you will not find someone who loathes rockit more than I do.

Original Teaser for IOA. This made me so damn excited. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=povODSvxCW4

Another very rare find with BTTF as the main feature to revolve around in 1999! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlgyieFPZb8&feature=related

Hulk Bus Driver http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNRfrl63t_4&NR=1

And every fan should watch this. Just beautiful. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELNzWSR2lQk&feature=fvw

I seem to have lost the Trike lost Pet are you ready? commercial I know is around youtube as well somewhere. Lot's of great videos from that user. Every fan should check them out.

Good stuff right there. I remember that dinosaur one. That girl is from the show Grounded for Life.

I also remember 2 commercials pretty vividly. One had Spider-Man and Doc Oc fighting on the wing of a plane with a kid flying to Orlando. The other was someone looking for his missing dinosaur in the park. Classics.

Here's just one for now, but if anyone misses these days, throw your hands up.

Man, Mat Hoffman's Stunt Show, that didn't last long at all and now that stage is still vacant :bang:. I still remember Trike Encounter like it was yesterday.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it was at the Toon Lagoon Amphitheatre.

I found a video from the show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8x_FxX6qlA4

It was. The greatest area in Universal of all-time.

I still don't mind Shrek 4D but it really should go for something better soon.

Jimmy Neutron can go!But it is pretty cool for kids as it goes through all the good Nick shows.
Actually, most kids who ride it nowadays won't recognize any of the characters except Spongebob. If you think about it, Jimmy Neutron is good nostalgic trip for a lot of us who are in the teen age.

Just found an old USF/IOA Brochure from 2003 in my house. It was before Shrek and Mummy opened and when BttF was still open.

I didn't want to post 16 pictures, so here is the album: http://s781.photobucket.com/albums/yy92/OUTbad556/US Brochure 2003/

My family watched the Maff Hoffman stunt show back in 2004 and, thankfully, took several pictures. Enjoy :)

Looks like a cool show. They should really consider using that theatre in the future.

I know... it's really strange to see such a big theater go unused. I've been going to Universal annually since 2002 and have never once been in it.

Was that done in one of the Soundstages? I know they film TNA in one and use the old Hercules and Xena one for HHN storage.
