They were building an entire other new theme park. Limited resources, I suspect rest of the decade will be busy.

No, but it’s probably coming elsewhere. IMO Zelda is most likely, followed by Wicked. There’s a possibility it’s some wild card nobody has guessed but it’s probably one of those two, with Pokémon going in USF

That's precisely what's been up for debate the last week or so. More and more and hinting that we will be "surprised" with what's going into LC and that Springfield may be here for longer than anticipated. It's looking more and more like things changed.

Yeah that's what I figured you meant. That the general consensus of Pokemon to Simpsons and Zelda/Wicked to LC had changed. All the people who have or pretend to have inside info on Twitter are all basically saying it's Pokemon now too. Now to speculate on what's going into Springfield in a few more years...

So if it truly is Pokémon, what do we want to see?

I'm still in love with the Pokemon snap/safari omnimover idea as a main attraction dark ride. Would love to see some sort of flat ride as well that can eat additional guests. Japanese style cuisine for quick service would fill a spot not yet covered in the USF/IOA areas, and then maybe an izakaya style (I'm a huge fan of Shiki-Sai at Epcot) restaurant replacement for Mythos.

Lastly and more important, for me, is a mixture of the wands and SNW band experience for catching/battling pokemon. Windows similar to wands to catch different pokemon (with your $500 pokeball purchase of course) and then a Bowser's challenge type experience where you can battle gym leaders/the elite four. Not to mention app integration to trade with and/or battle friends.

Universal will make so much money if they sell a physical Pokédex and physical interactive Pokéball.
