Peacock confirmed a new series coming soon... Epic Ride: The Story of Universal Theme Parks.

Was really looking forward to checking this out today as this was supposed to be the release date, but word is it was delayed till "later this year."

I'm really curious what's going on, as Attractions Magazine is the only one reporting it as having been delayed and says Peacock announced the delay. Other entertainment sources still have it as debuting today, and there has been no public announcement from Universal or Peacock either way.

That's a bummer, I was planning to watch that over the weekend.

I hope it doesn't quietly get shelved, but the lack of an actual official announcement of a delay, or an announcement of the new release date, is not confidence-inspiring.

For what it’s worth, Stardust Racers hasn’t dueled in several days.

Only yellow running today so far. It alternates, but has not been running both.

Oh no! Really hoping this isn't permanent. It would be so sad for such an awesome dueling coaster to get the same treatment as Dueling Dragons this early. Have you heard any rumblings as to the why?

Spoke too soon maybe? They’re putting more trains on and running both sides, but so far only guests on yellow side. Green empty.

Honestly I’d rather race against an empty train than one only one side lol

Interesting, I wonder if it was more a maintenance thing. Time will tell, hoping it duels with both sides open for you today!!

I felt like the Dueling Dragons coasters stood well enough on their own. Obviously much better dueling, but were still fun without. I’ve ridden Stardust without dueling and it is a huge blow to that ride IMO. Nowhere near as enjoyable to me. Hope they can sort out whatever needs to be sorted out.

I’ve ridden without dueling AND no music—and I hated it lol. Those aspects are necessary for me, or at least one of them.

And it is dueling with both now. So me talking about clearly scared it lol

But yes, seems to be a technical issue lately.

Aren't they also in the process of installing those seat upgrades from Mack? How many trains does Stardust have, total? (I know you've probably said in one of your videos but my mind is blanking lol)

I’ve ridden without dueling AND no music—and I hated it lol. Those aspects are necessary for me, or at least one of them.

My first impression of the music was "meh, everyone's screaming and the wind is so loud that you can barely hear it", but once you have that first ride without the music you realize how important it is.

The music is so lovely but it’s really weird how hard it is to hear. The night version especially feels inaudible.

I Looove the shooting sound on those launches, it’s the only thing that stuck out for me, I could faintly hear the rest

Looks like hours are out for September -
10 to 9!

Sunset throughout September is between 7:15 and 8, if they keep on doing that unadvertised extra hour we'll get a decent 90-120 minutes of real darkness for the whole month. I can stomach that. If they keep these hours up, early December with the low(er) crowds, cool(er) weather, and earlier sunsets will probably be the best time to go.

I'm at the Epic Universe panel at SDCC and they just announced they'll be putting the various park soundtrack on Spotify late this year and next year.

A sample of Celestial Park drops tomorrow.
