I do get why they said that, especially with previous year's discussion of Icons/Iconic Characters. But at the same time, it sounds like Sergio is pretty important to this year's story, their influence is in the event and so forth...sounds to me like the event already knows what Sergio is, they don't need the fanbase to decide that. Especially if it turns out Sergio has more of an influence on the event than what Sinister and Surreal had.

Either way, I am excited for this Conservatory theme, I do agree with everyone that this sounds way more cohesive than last year, and I love me some gothic imagery, so this theme is quite promising! Once again, I do feel the medallion this year is going to be a bloody/broken stained glass window. Sheer gut feeling on that.

I've loved the rock and synthwave but I've missed the more moody and atmospheric soundtrack that the parks used to have and I LOVE that we're potentially going back to that. Nothing gets you as pumped to hit another house like sitting in darkness near the lake and just hearing rumbling atmospheric as you look out into the rest of the lit-up park.

It is. People saw “paintings” and immediately assumed Killustrator because fans have a tendency to not consider new ideas but only things they’ve seen before.
