Probably my second favorite announcement with the first one being the Villain's Land. This will be fantastic for DHS!

Wouldn’t be shocked if this a Vekoma Family Suspended Coaster and this project takes over Animation Courtyard.

Looking at the concept art, and the comments made makes it seems intentionally to this that this is probably the Modern Vekoma STC with technical abilities for loading/unloading methods (specifically the elevator lifts).

Given similar Vekoma have been around 47 inches; I can see this being an intermediary between RnRC and Slinky.

Also echoing further; really happy this is going out of development hell.

Even though they heavily touched on the door chase coaster and for obvious reason, I wonder if its possible there is another D ticket dark ride in the land that hasn't been revealed yet...

Harryhausen's is in multiple pieces of the concept art.

They have to build it.

If they don't they are literal idiots. It's the biggest no-brainer.

This is so exciting I almost have to believe we're losing Muppets for it.

There's no way Disney would give me something that is such an unequivocal win without making me pay for it.

It’s going into Animation Courtyard. You’re good!

As long as there is a way to keep it Muppets needs to stay. Being the last thing Henson worked on, removing it would be disrespectful to his legacy.

I mean, eventually it's going to have to go. It's certainly nice to hear that this is planned for Animation Courtyard, but let's not kid ourselves, it's not like DHS has a ton of expansion space. One day they will likely have to pull the trigger on expanding into the CM parking lot behind Galaxy's Edge. But Animation Courtyard was one of the last spots that had some space that could be expanded on a bit.

After Animation Courtyard, Echo Lake with Indy/Star Tours all the way on down to Muppets are in deep jeopardy after Monsters.

Lots of confusion online about where this is going. Might be some clarity on the show floor tomorrow.

Hopefully we get a ton of models tomorrow. Also hopefully One Man's Dream gets any WDW models after D23 is over with.

So to try and place where this is, it does look like that may be Grand Avenue in the back there.

However, Brayden from MickeyViews had a separate theory beyond that. He's theorizing that the Monsters inc. building there is a faced on the end of Star Tours and the ride and part of the land extends into the parking lot.

Monstropolis was my favorite announcement last night. The Door Coaster concept is a good middle ground between Slinky Dog and RnRC in thrills (I'd imagine a 42" or 44" height requirement for it), and looks different from any other coasters at Disney World.

If they port Ride and Go Seek, it would give DHS a a D ticket ride without a height requirement, and help balance out the park. The concept art also shows a slide, so it seems like we'll get a playground.

That genuinely looks like animation courtyard with a crazy Vekoma suspended thrill coaster. You love to see it.

Absolutely insane addition. I've been hearing about this Coaster since I was a Zygote. This is the Metroid Dread or Ghostbusters 3 of Disney World announcements. So incredibly cool to see it all come full circle.

Few of us in the Parkstop chat were discussing Height Requirements, and it seems interesting that the concept art doesn't show any younger kids and that the model traditionally has a height requirement only a little bit lower than coasters like Mummy and Hagrids. It'd be a shame if this doesn't turn into a proper way to disperse the Slinky Dog Dash crowds a little bit more evenly. Young kids need a ton more to do in DHS, and that Sully playground is a good addition, but ain't gonna cut it on it's own. Especially if they rip out Disney Junior and TLM for it.

Speaking of, land placement is the real monster here. They have a perfect location choice (Animation Courtyard, liminal space that it is), a solid choice (Indy show, Sounds Dangerous, Star Tours areas), and the Bad Ending (Muppet-Vision 3-D :skull: ). Here's hoping they pick either of the first two spots. Muppets is small enough that they could just leave it alone. I lost Dinosaur last night, I can't be losing Muppet-Vision/Rat Pizza too! I wanna believe!

I'm excited for the loading station to be based on these rooms.

Everyone is saying Animation Courtyard for the location, but the concept art is giving me New York area/Muppets Courtyard vibes. Just look at the architecture of the buildings on the peripheral...looks similar to the architecture of PizzaRizzo and the surrounding buildings. I hate it too, believe me, but this is what I see.
